The Kent County Youth Fair - Last Day is today

The Kent County Youth Fair is wrapping up today.  We visited last night.  Here's some of my favorite pictures:
A goat checking out the view.

Rows and rows of animal cages.

One of the oddities of life: the pig snout.

A black and white cow.

Now that's a gentle cow!  I'm sure this girl helped raise her.

Lots of cows of every kind at the fair.

Alpacas

Snuggling bunnies.

Who doesn't love a grape snowcone!  Delish!  And the elephant ear was good too.  (good and gone - no pic!)

Kids enter projects at the Kent County Youth Fair for judging.  Paper crafts, baked goods, sewing projects.  Lots of blue ribbons.

If you can't tell what this is, it's camping next to the water treatment plan.  "scenic!"

I love going to the fair. Ours is the largest in the state of Indiana. There's something about the fair that just brings out the kid in everyone. It 's a good day for people watching too.
xx, Carol
