Training for the Lake Michigan Credit Union Bridge Run

Most of you know I am a member of an AWESOME running club, RunGR.  The group has over 150 members, and I am a part of a little sub group called the Sweeps!  Love my fellow running Sweeps! (can you guess why we are called the Sweeps?)  Anyway, if you aren't familiar with RunGR, its a running group that meets on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.  Sadly, in the summer the Saturday schedule moves to 7am.  7am!  On a Saturday!  Saturday is my sleep in day, so I've been skipping it.  After law school is done, perhaps I will restart my Saturday long runs with my fellow Sweeps!  There's nothing like running with a group of friends.  You get to experience nature and share some good chats too.  And exercise.  Win-Win-Win.

If you are looking for a good 10 mile training run, why not check out the Bridge Run?  It's in downtown
Grand Rapids and timed.  It's a good length to see how you are doing before the Grand Rapids Marathon and Half Marathon.
Happy Running!

Way to go! That's so awesome. So far I've only done a 3.1 mile, and even that I can't run. So I have deep respect for what you are doing! Good luck, and thanks for sharing on #FoodandFitnessFriday!
