Cute Overload - Information about Wildlife Rehabbers

Look at this adorable photo! My friend is a certified wildlife rehabber and works in Grand Rapids with Wildlife Rehab Center Ltd. This is her 3 legged pet bunny and an orphaned possum she is caring for and then will release. The baby possum was crying for its mother, but quieted down when paired with the bunny. cutest thing ever!
I like to think that being a wildlife rehabber is filled with fluffy bunnies, adorable baby squirrels, and dependent birds with broken wings but in reality it's long nights of feeding hungry babies every hour, trying to fix what cannot be fixed, and dealing with animals that just don't make it after you've spent hours trying to heal them.
